Free AI Class for Kids Ages 7–14
This free, one-hour online class helps children ages 7–14 understand what AI is, watch one practical demonstration, recognize hallucinations, protect personal information, and use AI responsibly. A parent or guardian should submit the inquiry and support younger learners during the Microsoft Teams session. No payment is required.

What your child will learn

Class format
The class is delivered live through Microsoft Teams. It begins with a simple explanation, moves into a supervised demonstration, gives learners a short fact-checking challenge, and ends with questions and a parent-friendly next step. The class is educational and does not provide individual legal, medical, or mental-health advice.
Who should attend
The class is designed for beginners and early learners ages 7–14. Parents or guardians are the primary contacts. Children ages 7–9 should participate with an adult beside them. Older learners may participate with a parent or guardian available and aware of the activity.
What you need
Use a laptop or desktop computer with a modern browser, reliable internet access, speakers or headphones, and Microsoft Teams access. A webcam is optional. Do not prepare or upload a child's private photo, school document, account password, address, birth date, or other identifying information.
Safety and privacy
We teach children to treat AI output as a draft that must be questioned. The session covers hallucinations, bias, deepfakes, personal-information boundaries, homework integrity, and adult supervision. Parents should review the current age requirements and privacy settings of any tool used at home.
Parent inquiry
Please use the parent or guardian form below. We ask only for the adult's name and email, the child's age band, prior coding experience, a preferred session, consent, and an optional parent question. Do not submit a child's name, birth date, school, address, direct contact details, or other personal information.
Frequently asked questions
Is the class really free? Yes. There is no payment required for this introductory session.
Does my child need coding experience? No. Choose none, visual coding, or Python in the inquiry so the activity can be matched to the group.
Will the class be recorded? Do not assume a recording is available. Ask in the parent inquiry if you need an accommodation or future session.
Can a child contact the class directly? No. The inquiry and email address must belong to a parent or guardian.
What happens after I inquire? The parent or guardian receives scheduling details and the Microsoft Teams link by email after availability is confirmed.
